Your exam matters more than any general advice

A website can't feel swelling, test strength, or watch you walk. It can't check whether all your pills are safe together. Bring your questions to the examiner who moves the joint. Ask what the exam shows, what remains unsure, and what each choice may cost.

The listed sources let you check where the health advice came from. A study of knees can't tell you the result for a shoulder, hip, or elbow. When medical studies disagree, the results aren't settled. That's a reason to ask for plain limits, not a reason to give up.

Get urgent care for fever plus joint heat. Do the same if an injury leaves the joint bent or suddenly weak. For soreness that lasts, don't let a website replace an exam.

In January 2025 federal district court orders resolving a joint FTC and Georgia Attorney General complaint permanently BANNED the co-founders of the Stem Cell Institute of America and several related companies from marketing stem cell therapy, and required payment of $5,155,146 in civil penalties and consumer refunds. In March 2024 the court had granted summary judgment on all counts, finding the defendants created and published false and misleading advertisements about the efficacy of stem cell injections. The affiliated clinic charged up to $5,000 per injection, almost exclusively to elderly and disabled consumers.
